QLDC 2017-18 Annual Plan

It includes projects and activities that are designed to meet the challenges of our community’s rapid growth and QLDC want your comments !!!

There will be several community drop-in sessions where residents can meet elected members and senior staff – the list is below.
I’m emailing representatives of each of our Community Associations on behalf of the Mayor and Councillors to let you know that QLDC’s draft Annual Plan has just been released.
It includes projects and activities that are designed to meet the challenges of our community’s rapid growth.

A summary of the plan is at the printer and will be posted to all ratepayers at the end of the week. Advertisements drawing it to residents’ attention will be in this week’s Mirror and Wanaka Sun, and we are also publicising it on social media.

• Luggate Monday 10 April, 5-6.30pm in the Luggate Hall
• Queenstown, Wednesday 12 April, 5.30-7pm in the Memorial Centre
• Arrowtown, Thursday 13 April, 5.30-7pm in the Community Centre
• Wanaka, Tuesday 18 April, 5.30-7pm in the Armstrong Room
• Hawea, Thursday 20 April, 5-6.30pm in the Community Hall
• Arthur’s Point, Friday 21 April, 5.30-7pm in the Nugget Point Hotel
• Glenorchy, Wednesday 26 April, 5.30-7pm in the Glenorchy Hall

Feedback closes on 28 April and the Council will hold hearings to consider all submissions before amending and adopting the plan in late June.
