Clubs that keep you active
Beginners to experienced riders – men and women of all ages – having fun mountainbiking and road cycling. They go out every weekend and a couple of weekdays, always in the morning, unless the weather prevents it. No one rides alone and rides always end with coffee.

This informal group tackles a different trail in the Queenstown Lakes District each Thursday. The walks are graded and take between 2 and 6 hours. Walks usually finish up at a café. Check out the timetable on our website.

Millbrook Cricket Club
The cricket club caters for over-40s and plays around 15 casual fixtures between November and March. Games are usually on a Sunday, with home games at Millbrook Corner.

Arrowtown City Football Club
Arrowtown City FC plays in the Central Otago Football League over winter, training and playing home games at the Queenstown Events Centre. Players are drawn from all over the Wakatipu, but they're keen to get more Arrowtown-based players.
Arrowtown Rugby Club
The rugby club has a very successful senior premier team and a thriving junior section. Based in soon-to-be-upgraded club rooms at Jack Reid Park, it’s always looking for new members.
Arrowtown Swim Club
The swimming club runs regular training sessions at the pool in Hertford St from December to March. Junior Swim Club is on Fridays at 6 pm, with BBQ.
Arrowtown Tennis Club
Club night is on Tuesdays from 6 pm at the courts in Centennial Avenue next to the holiday park.
Subs are: Family $75, Adult $50, Junior $20 and a one-off $10 for a key to the courts.

The club is situated at 166 Centennial Avenue. Club days are Wednesday and Saturday (men), refer to website for women's programme. Green fees players and new members welcome.
Arrowtown Bowling Club
The rooms are located on the corner of Denbigh and Hertford Streets. Subs for playing members $170, $40 for social members. Bowls and flat-soled shoes are available for green fee players. The clubrooms are able to be hired by groups for educational and training purposes.

Arrowtown fields premier and social teams in local competitions, mostly based at the Frankton Events Centre.
Arrowtown Pétanque Club
Meet on Sunday afternoons outside the Library at 3pm in the warmer months. Friendly games of pétanque followed by a social hour.

Queenstown Dog Agility Club
Dog agility is about fun and speed, as your dog runs through an obstacle course. Training is at Lake Hayes Showground or our fenced club paddock in Arrowtown. The only NZKC affiliated club in Central Otago/Southern Lakes.
