Wakatipu Reforestation Trust

The trust's vision is grow and plant out native plants on public land, including threatened species. This will create wildlife corridors that will, in turn, attract native birds and insects, significantly enhancing the biodiversity. The trust has a nursery in Kelvin Heights and community planting days in the spring and autumn, including at Feehly Hill, Whitechapel, and around Lake Hayes.
