Arrowtown has two preschools on three sites.

Arrowtown Preschool

Arrowtown Preschool is a non-profit organisation that guarantees any profit is invested back into learning opportunities for the children. Children aged 12 months to 3 years go to the Cotter Avenue site. It is next to Arrowtown Primary School, allowing excellent ties to the school, including a buddy programme. Children age 4 to 5 attend the Durham Street site, from where they can explore the natural world at the river reserve and make use of the museum and library. BestStart Arrowtown

BestStart Arrowtown (formerly Montessori Arrowtown) offers childcare and education for babies and children aged 3 months to 6 years from their site in Wiltshire Street. The team is committed to providing high quality childcare and education under the Montessori philosophy. There is strong emphasis on developing self-management skills and becoming self-motivated.
