Arrowtown Choppers group are organising a community big chop day on Otago Anniversary Day the 20th March.
People are asked to meet at 10am at The Chinese Village to sign in, pick up tools and head up to the first saddle on Sawpit Gully for further instructions and a briefing.
Or you can head straight up Sawpit Gully Track if arriving later.
Sausages & bread will be provided by Arrowfield Apartments and refreshments by The Fork & Tap.
People are asked to bring their own tools (if they have them), extra food & drink & the appropriate clothing & footwear.
The day is open to any age group, families etc. Anyone that is keen to get involved for 1,2,3 hours is welcome.
